Definitely not! Wallpaper has come so far. There are thousands of paper in a variety of themes, color, pattern and texture. Peel and stick is the latest application and allows you to change paper very easily as your taste changes.
The first step is to decide where to put the paper. Are you doing an accent wall, bathroom, dining room, above a chair rail? Second step is to narrow down what your taste is. I can help with this or go ahead and search wallpaper peel and stick and you will find many options to begin your search.
Most wallpaper websites have calculators that can help you determine how much to order. I am happy to doublecheck with you to make sure you have enough if not more than you need.
Depending on your pattern most wallpaper has the pattern repeated every few inches or in most cases 24-48 inches. This is important in orering paper because there is a lot of waste in a large pattern repeat in order to line everything properly. Waste is typical. It is just part of the process.
It is very important to check the return (or restocking) for your wallpaper. Most sites like Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot etc allow returns if the item is not opened. Some companies will allow you to return but will charge you a fee (restocking fee of usually 10%) to return the rolls.
Yes absolutely! Many papers come in all kinds of application methods.
unpasted - requires glue/paste
pre-pasted - needs to be wet to activate the glue
peel and stick - removable back that provides a sticky application
**removable does not mean peel and stick.
** Read the fine print - some peel and stick is mislabeled.
